In some design templates, your short description is automatically displayed on your default home/landing page. You may want to edit your short description specifically for your website, or perhaps your homepage would look better without a short description at all. Here's how to hide it and edit it!
1. In your Pagevamp site editor, go to the Pages tab.
2. Click the Settings wheel for the Home page.
3. Under "Facebook Short Description," you can either Hide or Edit the description.
A. To hide the description, simply click "Hidden" underneath "Facebook Short Description."
B. To edit the description, click "Custom Text" underneath "Facebook Short Description Text." Then, write your new short description in the text box, and click "Save."
4. When you are finished, click 'x' to close this window.
